For New Beekeepers:
Starting your beekeeping journey can be both thrilling and overwhelming. This program pairs you with a friendly, experienced ECBS member who can help guide you through the seasons — from setup to inspections, and everything in between.
As a mentee, you’ll get:
Seasonal support and hands-on advice
Help with common challenges like pests, feeding, swarming, and winter prep
A safe space to ask questions and grow your confidence
Encouragement to someday become a mentor yourself!
For Experienced Beekeepers:
If you’ve been keeping bees for 3+ years, we encourage you to share your wisdom. You don’t have to be an expert — just a willing guide. This is a chance to give back, deepen your connection to the club, and help shape the next generation of beekeepers.
